A Lot of "Firsts" this week

This week has been amazing so far.....
FIRST VENDOR SHOW:
Over the weekend we went to our first vendor show.....learned a lot.....figured out some new things we want to do to the booth to make it POP more at the next event....met some amazing people.....generated a LOT of interest in our products and biz opp.

And we had our first professional pictures taken of all of our products and kits.  That was exciting.  It made it all seem so very real.

FIRST OFFICIAL FOUNDING CONSULTANT SIGNED UP:

The most exciting part about this week so far is that we have officially signed up our very first FOUNDING CONSULTANT!!!  Yay!!!  Erika Hess in Clayton, NC is our first consultant.  We have several others submitting applications but Erika's was the first to be completed and turned in.  Erika will be getting some really great things included in with her kit just for being the first consultant!!

Adding a Splash of Color

Starting a new business is always a fun journey.......especially when it involves so many wonderful fragrances and.......COLORS!!!!  I was not originally planning to offer color as an option with our products.  This is mainly because I am not one that is drawn to colored body care products.  I prefer mine to be clear or white.....and with a hint of glitter.  :-)  But I know that just because I don't like color doesn't mean others won't.  And I've got to say......while I may not like color in my products, I had a TON of FUN playing around with them yesterday and adding them to our samples so I could decide on the colors we will keep in the lineup and determining how much color for each.   I'll post a picture later today.

Vision & Purpose

Whew.....what a journey this has been for me with this new business venture.....Tickled Pink Formulary, LLC.

But WHAT is this Formulary I speak of , you may ask????
It is only the very BEST in custom scented bath and body products.  We have very carefully selected (and produced) only the finest in bath and body product bases.....and then we added 115 fragrances for you to choose from to CREATE YOUR OWN custom scent recipe.   And the best part of all is that you can make money while having fun.....yep....we have launched the Formulary as a home party plan type of company with TWO kit options available.

But it's been a long walk since last November taken by the Formulary Founder, Melodie Hand.  After going through the planning process for a couple of years Mel was ready to start actually working on the foundations of the company......packaging had been selected, base products had been selected and now it was all the other stuff in between that needed to be filled in (purchasing, label creation, consultant guide rewrite, all the paperwork creation, etc).  A partner and co-founder had been considered.  But Mel soon figured out that having help with the company did not mean a partner was necessary.  Mel's original vision and ideas were getting drawn too far off track.  So that idea was squashed and you now have ONE Founder with a very focused vision and a purpose for the Formulary......
